Ambassadori Group

Ambassadori Group (founded 2004) is a well-known Georgian hospitality operator now behind Ambassadori Island Batumi - an 84-hectare artificial-island megaproject with 10+ planned towers and 7,000+ apartments. The operator is established, but the island itself is early-stage, with no comparable delivered precedent in Georgia. Verdict: ambitious and high-profile, but an off-plan bet on an unbuilt artificial island is a long-horizon, higher-risk investment.

Verdict

Two things are true at once here. Ambassadori Group has run hotels and hospitality in Georgia since 2004, so the operator is real and established. But Ambassadori Island is a different order of undertaking: an artificial island requiring marine engineering, with the first tower only recently moving from site preparation into construction and site development reported around halfway at the end of 2025. Nothing on the island is delivered yet, and artificial-island projects carry timeline and execution risks that ordinary towers do not. If you buy off-plan, treat it as a long-horizon, higher-risk position: confirm the current construction stage, the payment-protection terms, and what happens to your funds if the schedule slips.

FAQ

Is Ambassadori Island built?

No. As of late 2025 the artificial island's site development was reported around halfway and the first tower was at foundation stage. It is an early-stage off-plan project, not a delivered one.

Is Ambassadori Group experienced?

Yes as a hospitality operator (since 2004), but the Island is its first artificial-island real-estate megaproject, which carries execution and timeline risks beyond a standard tower.
