About the desk
Why we exist
Most “Batumi real estate” sites are sales funnels wearing a blog. They rank a project, collect a lead, and move on – whether or not the building was ever delivered on time. A foreign buyer, sitting a few thousand kilometres away, has almost no way to check. We built this desk to close that gap: to publish the numbers and the track records the sales sites leave out, and to say plainly when something is a bad idea.
How we stay honest
We’re paid when we introduce a serious buyer to a developer or agency – and only when the match is one we’d make for a friend. We are never paid to rank a project higher, to soften a review, or to hide a delay. That commitment is written down on our disclosure page, and every data claim we publish is dated and sourced per our methodology.
Who writes this
Runs the Batumi Delivery Index and Market Monitor. Focus: pricing, developer track records, source quality, and the assumptions behind headline returns.
Reports the data pages and checks developer histories against public records, archived material, official statements and clearly labelled secondary reporting. Bylines the accountability work.
Have a correction or a tip about a project or developer? Tell us – we publish corrections openly.
